Australians Don't Like Retirement Villages

Although Australian like to downsize their properties on retirement the current rash of Australian property developers have got it wrong on latest figures. People wnat to continue to live in their own suburb and not move a long way out of town and pay for a lot of services they don't need. Maybe developers should actually consider the demand before they build one more "resort-style lifestyle opportunity"  they should maybe listen to what their customer wants - now that's an old-fashoned idea!

Property Investment in Australia

What is the outlook for property investment in Australia going foward? Without having an wx to grind or a commssion to protect I'd have to say - mixed. I woudln't be getting in too deep to property investment there if I was concerned about my job, nor would I be borrowing at current rates without being confident I could still afford the mortgage if the rates doubled in the next two years. Extreme - no that's what happened to people who took out floating rate mortgages at the low point of the last interest rate cycle....

Forget about gathering around the watercooler, what really holds a work team together is a good, hot cup of coffee ;-) Large coffee makers are a must for every coffee addicted work team and also for big family gatherings and / or meetings in your Church or village hall.

John Chow hacked

Seems John Chow got hacked again. One of the risks involved in being successfull on the internet is that people try to destroy you. Bearing in mind that John Chow claims to earn up to $40,000 with his blog, the fact that said blog is now down since at least 12h and counting makes me shiver. Apart of the lost of income, it also minds that Google can't find his site when attempting to crawl it and this will affect his search reankings (Serp) negatively. Not funny, especially as he just got re-admitted into the Google index. Get well soon, John Chow!

Juice Fasting

Juice fasting can be done for 1-3 days as a short spring clean or for longer for a more serious weightloss. However, before starting with a juice only diet, also called drink fast, you should always ask your GP / doctor first, especially if you suffer any chronic or acute health problems, take regular medication or are / hope to become pregnant. Your GP / doctor knows your health state best and can help you to decide if a juice fast is really good for your or would do more harm then good to your health.

Another approach to niche marketing

One often overlooked possibility, when it comes to choosing a profitable niche is to look at other languages. “Making Money online” is a highly competitive niche that is difficult to break into. The German equivalent “Geld machen” and its variations are far easier! So, if you are able to write well in another language, you should consider to broaden your mini site portfolio by branching out in those other language markets. Another advantage is that you can use your existing material to set these sites up by translating it. That saves time and effort, as your mini sites multiply by the number  of languages you speak.
